Alcedo Care Group Expands Futher Across North Wales
Following increased demand for its specialist homecare services, Alcedo Care Group is expanding further across North Wales with the opening of a new branch on Clywedog Road South in Wrexham and exciting plans to expand further into Bangor and Anglesey.
Recognised with a place on the North Wales Complex Care Framework, Alcedo is one of the largest quality home care groups in the UK, delivering a comprehensive range of specialist and highly complex nurse-led clinical care services plus traditional domiciliary care, live-in care and mental health care for those with challenging needs in the home setting.
The company initially moved into North Wales just over 12 months ago with the opening of its first branch in St Asaph, which has gone from strength to strength, receiving a glowing Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) award and a Silver Award from Flintshire County Council.
With the busy St Asaph branch delivering much-needed care to clients of all ages looking to remain in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes, recruitment is underway to expand the care team and to find office space in Bangor before moving on into Anglesey.
The expansion signals a combined investment of approximately £500K in North Wales and will create approximately 200 local jobs with unlimited potential for training, development and career progression.
Different from other healthcare providers, Alcedo Care Group is highly experienced in the delivery of technically complex clinical and mental health care in the home setting and can provide exceptional personal support for adults, children and families of all ages and profiles.
Managing director at Alcedo Care Group, Andy Boardman, explains: “With demand for high quality specialist homecare continuing to increase, we have received unprecedented demand for our services from across the whole of North Wales and are pleased to announce that we will be expanding further across the region with the opening of new offices in Wrexham, Bangor and eventually in Anglesey.
“Our highly compassionate and professional care team has built a strong client base in St Asaph and has very much become part of the local community. We are looking forward to replicating this in Wrexham and other areas as we expand.”
The Wrexham branch opens with a dedicated team of five, supported by group head of mobilisation Claire Culshaw, and will recruit as required as more clients come on board.
Rated one of the Top 20 Large Home Care Groups in the UK for the sixth consecutive year making it one of only a handful of companies ever to achieve this, multi award-winning Alcedo Care Group is on track to meet its first target of owning and operating 30 branches across the North of England and Wales by the end of 2025.
Alongside its geographical expansion plans, the family-owned Group is also on a mission to continually expand its portfolio of quality home care services with a particular emphasis on complex care, live-in care, children’s services and young persons crisis management residential homes.
