Benefits of Children & Young People's Care

Respite for the family – As a human beings, we all need a break where we can recharge and be ready for the next days. With respite care support our professional carers will take care of your child while you take that needed time off duty. As a parent of a child with additional needs, some days could be exhausting and stressful affecting your well-being and social life. Having a day for yourself or a few hours per day/week can definitely improve your mental and physical health.

More time for the rest of the family – we understand that as a parent your child’s needs are more important than yours. However, sometimes we ignore our significant other, our other children, family and friends unintentionally. With the support of our children’s carers, you will have more time for them without feeling guilty about not focusing on your child with additional needs.

Feel more like parent than a carer – with our children’s care support you can once again feel more like a parent than a carer. We understand that sometimes you need to put emotions to one side and do what is needed to be done. With the support we provide you don’t need to put that wall again.

A shoulder to lean on – our carers will support and help you with daily tasks for your child’s needs so that you won’t feel overwhelmed at the end of the day. We will take the pressure off your shoulders.
