As a supported living services customer, as much or as little support can be provided by our trained staff. We can be on hand to help you catch your bus each morning, help you with your personal appearance, support you with your job search, or even support you in organising supported holidays and days out.
No matter how we can help, we always strive to encourage independence amongst our supported living services customers, allowing them to enjoy their own choice of activities while living their lives to the full and on their own terms.
How can we support you?
For many of our customers, receiving extra support in their day-to-day activities helps them improve their health and well-being, such as progression in mobility, language and behaviour. A one-on-one connection with regular members of the Alcedo Care supported living team helps to build confidence and enhances life for both the customers and their families.
We can provide you with personal support to help you maintain your personal hygiene to a high standard – assist with bathing, toileting, showering, oral hygiene, catheter care, stoma etc.; complex care when you require more complex clinical needs such as P.E.G care, tracheostomy care; companionship where our carers can provide you with emotional support or accompany you to your favourite place, medical appointment or access to the community learning disability support helping and supporting you with your day-to-day activities.
