About the role
Are you passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives? We are looking for caring, reliable and encouraging Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals in their own homes and within the community.
As a Support Worker, you’ll help individuals develop their independence, confidence and life skills, supporting them to live as independently as possible and make their own choices. This may include supporting people to access the community, attend activities and appointments, develop social skills, build confidence, and learn or maintain everyday living skills such as cooking, shopping, budgeting and managing their home.
You’ll work alongside each individual to understand their goals, interests and aspirations, providing the right level of support and encouragement to help them achieve their potential. Every day is different, and your role will be about empowering people to do more for themselves, try new things and enjoy greater independence, while always promoting dignity, wellbeing, choice and respect.
