Join Alcedo Care as a Complex Mental Health Care Assistant in Lancaster, Heysham. 

Excellent rates of pay £18.00 - £18.50 per hour + Pension + Holiday Pay (equivalent to £20.78 - £21.35 per hour including holiday pay & pension).

Guaranteed contracted hours available:

• 24 hours per week OR
• 36 hours per week

Permanent waking night shifts:

• 20:00 - 08:00
• Fixed rota pattern

About the Role

This is a rewarding 1:1 support role providing specialist care and support to an individual living with complex mental health needs. As a Complex Mental Health Care Assistant, you'll build a consistent and meaningful relationship with the person you support, helping them to live safely, independently and comfortably within their own home and local community.

• Previous experience supporting individuals with complex mental health needs
• Experience working within care, support work, mental health services or a related environment
• Experience following care plans and risk management strategies
• Strong communication and active listening skills
• The ability to remain calm and confident in challenging situations
• Experience using de-escalation techniques and positive behaviour support approaches
