What is a Field Care Supervisor?
Our Field Care Supervisors are responsible for the ongoing field supervision of care, carrying out spot checks to ensure our care assistants are providing the high standards of care that we strive for to keep our clients safe, well and happy!
What does a Field Care Supervisor do?
As a Field Care Supervisor, your time is split between being in the office, supporting the branch team, and out in the field carrying out checks on our services. It’s a role which allows you to progress in your carer career whilst still keeping regular touch points with our client, whom you will no doubt have built connections with. You’ll carry out assessments on our care packages to ensure our clients are happy with the service they are provided from both their carers and the branch team.
In your role, you’ll supervise a group of Care Assistants to make sure they are not only doing their job correctly, safely and according to our Alcedo Care values, but are happy in their work and enjoy what they are doing.
What qualifications do you need to be a Field Care Supervisor?
To be a Field Care Supervisor with Alcedo Care, you will need to have proven yourself as an outstanding carer, either with ourselves or another care provider. If you have been working with Alcedo Care, you may have been allocated a Care Ambassador role, which identifies our more senior or experienced carers.
You will be someone that demonstrates on a daily basis what it takes to be an Alcedo Carer, offering a person-centred service that enriches our clients’ lives. You should also be a team player that enjoys supporting others, as you will be helping our care assistants be the best that they can be.
