Qualified Nurses at Alcedo Care are required to be friendly, caring, and sensitive individuals, who are able to offer social stimulation, clinical care, emotional and social support to their clients. Ensuring collaboration with healthcare and social care teams, the patients and family members, guaranteeing person-centred care. There is the option of working in residential or community placements, with opportunities to work within different specialities, depending on skillset.
In all of these settings, our nurses should act as advocates to our clients in order to ensure their safety and increase outcomes and satisfaction.
All nurses must adhere to the Nursing & Midwifery Council Code of Conduct and within their scope of practice and have an in-date PIN number.
Personal Responsibility
- Be registered with the relevant body and work within the associated Code of Conduct
- Understand the regulatory framework that governs the service, including the role of CQC and their requirements
- Attend statutory training and any other training as directed by the management
- Understand, share and implement all policies and procedures relevant to the role

- Understand the Health and Safety requirements associated with the role
