Case Study: Claire’s Story
Alcedo Care has been caring for 55-year-old Claire, who lives in Ormskirk. She is looked after by John and Clint from Alcedo’s Southport office, recognised as one of the best home care providers in the North of England!
Helping Claire get out and about, the team delivers structured social visits three times a week for approximately three hours to go for a stroll, pop to a café for a coffee, have a browse around the shops or go to the cinema. Claire is a wheelchair user and can sometimes struggle to access some of the places that she would like to go, so the visits from the Alcedo Care team solve this problem, with Claire happily able to get anywhere with their help.

We always have so much fun; we go out locally or on days out further afield and I always feel safe, happy and very well looked after.”
“I would be lost without them really,” she continues, “As I certainly wouldn’t be able to get out of the house on my own to go for a day out. John and Clint make sure everything is perfect for me and I always have an enjoyable and relaxing time.”
