Aidan Cross has been promoted to the position of Establishments Account Manager for Alcedo Care Southport.
Aidan, who was previously Recruitment Manager for Alcedo Care Blackpool, now has responsibility for placing Nurses, Health Care Assistants and Support Workers into residential and nursing homes, supported living organisations and privately operated hospitals and clinics, throughout Southport and the surrounding area.
In-Depth Experience
Aidan has worked within the care sector since he was 18 years old and has in-depth experience of working as a primary rehabilitation coach. This involved working alongside brain injury rehabilitation coaches and healthcare assistants to offer post-acute, personalised care to individuals who required intensive neurobehavioral interventions. As a result, Aidan has extensive experience of creating individual rehabilitation programmes.
Through this experience and through his experience as Recruitment Manager for Alcedo Care Blackpool, Aidan have developed a broader knowledge of healthcare, which has equipped him to pursue his new role as Establishments Account Manager for Alcedo Care Southport.
Covid-19 & Continuity of Care
It is Alcedo Care policy that during the Coronavirus crisis we strive to achieve continuity of care, to minimise any risk of spreading the virus. So, Aidan’s first challenge as Account Manager was to speak with all his staff and establishment clients, to align our excellent care staff with specific establishments wherever possible; sending the same faces to the same places. In this way we can reduce the spread of Coronavirus and help protect both our establishment clients and our staff.
Aidan is also working with local care establishments to limiting the requirement for multiple agencies, thus helping to reduce the spread of Coronavirus still further.
Autism Initiative Homes
As well as placing Nurses, Health Care Assistants and Support Workers into residential and nursing homes, supported living organisations and privately operated hospitals and clinics, Aidan also enjoys working with local Autism Initiative Homes, providing them with Alcedo Care staff as required, reducing the need for multiple agencies and once again, ensuring continuity of care.
