We are proud & very excited to announce that after trading for nearly three years as part of a national franchise network, the Directors and owners of Alcedo Care have now bought their three offices out of the network and are now completely independent.
Alcedo Care is a family owned and operated business which is run by husband and wife team, Andy and Jo Boardman along with long term business partner John Stafford. With offices in Blackpool, Wigan & St Helen’s and Southport, the future is bright for Alcedo Care, it’s valued staff and amazing clients.
A Landmark Year for Alcedo
2020 will be a landmark year for Alcedo, with the roll out of a strategic growth and expansion plan going hand in hand with improvements to operating systems, a new website, a new real time interactive electronic monitoring system which allows relatives to directly access their loved one’s care plans and daily logs. To say we are excited about the future would be a massive understatement.
Our existing Home Care Services continue as normal, as does our capacity to provide the very best Health Care Assistants, RGN’s and Support Workers to establishments across the region. However, we are now diversifying and producing bespoke packages, that will see us engage with diverse client groups.
We have reviewed and enhance our e-learning options along with making our in-house training programme 33% longer, this will further enhance the skill sets of our already well-trained staff and be a great benefit to our clients and candidates alike. We will continue with the rigorous vetting process of our applicants meaning on average we only recruit one in ten of our applicants.
Our Registered Care Managers have been devising wider candidate development programmes, to ensure that our new recruits have the knowledge and skills required to become industry leaders in the modern care industry.
