Alcedo Care are enthusiastic supporters of the Alzheimer’s Society; the only UK charity that campaigns for change, funds research to find a cure, and supports people living with dementia. So this week, managers at Alcedo Care Blackpool took part in the Alzheimer’s Society Elf Day and managed to raise over £90.00 for this deserving charity.
Organised every year, the Alzheimer’s Society Elf Day is a fun way to raise money for people affected by dementia by spreading some festive cheer.
Alcedo Home Care Elves!
Rosie Caunt, Katie Sainsbury, Siobhan Withington and Vicki Richardson of Alcedo Care visited home care clients in their homes across Blackpool and the Fylde dressed as festive elves, delivering mince pies and festive treats. And one wonderful client even baked some cakes for them too!
Most importantly, the Alcedo Carers had a really fun time with their home care clients and spread plenty of Christmas cheer, making everybody smile. Surely the Alzheimer’s Society Elf Day has to be the perfect way to kick-start the festive season.
We’re looking forward to next year already!
