Registered Home Care Manager – Lucy Deighton
Lucy has over eight years’ experience within the health and social care sector, starting as a home carer herself. Her career in healthcare started off in College, studying a Health and Social Diploma while working for a local home care agency in Southport.
Upon completing her Diploma, Lucy then studied at the University of Central Lancashire where she successfully graduated with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Health and Social Care. After completing her degree, Lucy successfully passed her QCF Level 5 NVQ in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care for Adults and Children.
Meeting Clients’ Needs
Lucy’s role at Alcedo Care is to ensure all clients’ needs are met every day and to the highest possible level. Throughout her career Lucy has always challenged herself to find ways to support and enable those in her care provision to receive the best possible care and support. She has achieved this by working with social services, district nurses, other multi-disciplinary healthcare teams and of course at Alcedo Care with her own highly rated Southport Home Care team.
