Nicki Grain has been promoted to Registered Manager of Alcedo Care Lancaster & Wyre.
Nicki joined Alcedo Care in November 2019 as a Care Ambassador and was subsequently promoted to the position of Field Care Supervisor and then Care Coordinator. Following her success in these roles, Nicki has now been promoted to the position of Registered Manager, where she has full responsibility for delivering Alcedo Care’s award-winning Homecare Services in Lancaster and throughout Wyre.
Nicki’s journey started when she was 17 years old as a Kitchen Assistant in a nursing home. Since then she has worked and gained experience in nursing homes, domiciliary care, on EMI units, in a children nursery and in mental health supported living. She enjoys caring for others and helping to make their days a little brighter. When Nicki is not working, she enjoys spending time with her partner and their children.
Nicki has now worked in Health and Social Care for 20 years and graduated from Blackpool and Fylde University in 2017 with a BA Honours Degree in Health and Social Care: Children and Families pathway.
