Alcedo Care Wins Specialist Care Expertise Award at the 2026 Home Care Awards
Alcedo Care is celebrating after winning the Specialist Care Expertise Award at the Home Care Awards 2026, held on Friday 6 March at the National Conference Centre in Solihull.
The award recognises excellence in delivering specialist care services and highlights organisations that demonstrate innovation, quality and outstanding outcomes for the people they support. This latest win marks a proud moment for Alcedo Care, who previously received the very same award in 2024.
The 2026 award recognised the organisation’s innovative Rapid Response Team (RRT) service – a specialist mobilisation service designed to provide fast, expert support for individuals with complex care needs. The service enables highly trained complex care staff to respond quickly when urgent care packages are required, helping people transition safely from hospital to home or ensuring immediate support is available in the community.
The judges praised the service for its responsiveness, expertise and the positive difference it makes to clients and their families during critical moments of care.
