The South Liverpool office of specialist home care provider Alcedo Care Group has been rated “Good” in all five areas by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), following a rigorous assessment process.
The CQC is the independent regulator of health and adult social care services in England, undertaking regular inspections to ensure services delivered meet essential standards of quality and safety. To achieve a “Good” rating means the service is performing well and meeting all required expectations across the five key domains: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, and Well-led.
Alcedo Care South Liverpool, which provides complex nurse-led clinical care, traditional domiciliary care and specialist support to clients, including those living with dementia, physical disabilities and mental health conditions, was praised extensively throughout the report. At the time of the inspection (September 2025), the service was supporting over two dozen clients.
