Alcedo Care delivers specialist one to one care to clients in care homes, supported living environments, hospices and hospitals in Wigan, St Helens, Chorley, Leyland and throughout the local area.
Our staff are fully trained and experienced in delivering bespoke care packages and pride themselves on the excellent quality of service they provide.
What is One to One Care?
This is typically provided to ensure the safety of clients who may be suffering from a range of different impairments. This includes cognitive impairments such as dementia, sensory, perception and motor impairments, such as are experienced within the wide range of autism spectrum disorders, and end of life palliative care.
Commencing Your Care
It is important within a care package that not only is the client provided with the appropriate level of care, but also that the client themselves are happy with the service being provided for them.
To ensure our clients feel happy and comfortable with the service being provided, we will first arrange to meet with the client and their family. This provides an opportunity for the client and their family to meet their prospective carer and to discuss their package and any specific requirements they may have, with them.
Feeling Comfortable with Your Carer
Feeling comfortable with your carer is always important and we have found this to be of particular importance to our autistic clients. Alcedo therefore always strives to provide continuity of staff whenever possible. This helps to maintain our excellent quality while minimising any possible upset and disruption.
Your Funding
