Alcedo Care supporting Alder Hey Children’s Charity!
This year Alcedo Care’s Merseyside branches are delighted to be supporting Alder Hey Children’s Charity with our Christmas Toy Appeal. Christmas is a particularly hard time of year to be in hospital, and this initiative seeks to give children under the care of Alder Hey Children’s Hospital that extra Christmas cheer!
We are appealing for donations of new, unwrapped children’s toys, games and books – the charity particularly appreciates arts and crafts kits, as well as donations for babies and older children aged over 13, who often get overlooked in donations.
What can I donate?
Alder Hey Children’s Charity can only accept new toy donations and there are some types of gifts that cannot be accepted, such clothes and second-hand toys.
Alder Hey also do not accept soft toy donations due to issues with infection control, but other toys and games are welcome as long as they are new.
Below are some ideas of donations gratefully received!
