Louise - Operations Manager
My name is Louise Bradley, and I am the Head of Operations – Wales for Alcedo Care. I am responsible for overseeing all branches across the region, including Wrexham and St Asaph, ensuring that our teams consistently deliver safe, high‑quality, person‑centred care. My role involves supporting operational leaders, strengthening service performance, and guiding the continued growth of our branch network so that more individuals across Wales can benefit from exceptional homecare.
Since joining Alcedo Care in February 2026, I have been deeply impressed by the organisation’s unwavering commitment to both clients and colleagues. It is rare to find a care provider that lives its values so authentically, placing dignity, respect, and genuine compassion at the heart of every decision. Being part of an award‑winning organisation that puts people—both clients and staff—first is something I am truly proud of.
Throughout my career, I have been driven by a passion for ensuring that adults in need of support are able to live safely and independently in their own homes. Having started in Health and Social Care at the age of 16 as a care worker, I developed a strong appreciation for the importance of frontline roles and the life‑changing impact of high‑quality care. Over the years, I have gained experience across compliance, nursing, complex care, quality management, and senior operational leadership. This has allowed me to understand the sector from the ground up and equipped me with the skills to support teams in delivering care that is safe, reliable, and truly person‑centred.
My experience spans homecare, live‑in care, and complex care services, including supporting individuals with long‑term health conditions, disabilities, and specialist clinical needs. Across every setting, my priority has always been to promote independence, dignity, and comfort while ensuring families feel reassured and supported. I believe deeply in the power of well‑trained, confident, and compassionate teams, and I am committed to fostering a culture where staff feel valued, empowered, and supported to deliver the very best care.
A key motivation in my role is contributing to the continued expansion of Alcedo Care’s presence across Wales. By strengthening our services and growing our regional footprint, we can make high‑quality care accessible to more people who rely on dependable, professional support to remain at home.
Outside of work, I enjoy travelling and exploring new places. Experiencing different cultures. Originally born in Chester, Cheshire, I spent much of my childhood holidaying in Wales. Working across this region now feels especially meaningful, and I am proud to contribute to improving care services in such a beautiful and welcoming part of the world.
